If you’re searching for premium yamaha performance superbike exhausts that deliver exceptional quality, sound, and engineering, the Carbon Can Co Ltd exhaust system for the YAMAHA FJR1300 2001-2023 is the perfect upgrade for your sport-touring machine. Designed and manufactured in the UK using precision CNC mandrel-bent technology, this exhaust system transforms your FJR1300’s performance and aesthetics while maintaining seamless compatibility with your OEM downpipes.

Premium Yamaha Performance Superbike Exhausts for the FJR1300

The YAMAHA FJR1300 has earned its reputation as one of the finest sport-touring motorcycles ever produced, combining blistering performance with long-distance comfort. To complement this engineering excellence, Carbon Can Co Ltd has developed a bespoke exhaust system that enhances both the auditory experience and the overall performance characteristics of this iconic machine. This comprehensive kit includes everything required for a straightforward installation, ensuring that riders can enjoy their upgraded exhaust system without the need for extensive modifications or specialist tools.

Each exhaust system comprises two stainless steel 304 CNC mandrel-bent link pipes, meticulously crafted to ensure optimal exhaust gas flow and maximum durability. Mandrel bending is crucial for performance exhausts because it maintains consistent pipe diameter throughout each bend, eliminating the restrictions commonly found in crush-bent alternatives. This manufacturing precision ensures that exhaust gases can exit efficiently, potentially improving throttle response and engine breathing across the rev range.

What’s Included with Your Yamaha Performance Superbike Exhausts Kit

Carbon Can Co Ltd understands that a complete exhaust system requires more than just the primary components. This comprehensive package for the FJR1300 includes:

  • 2 x Stainless 304 CNC Mandrel Bent Link Pipes – precision-engineered for perfect fitment and optimal flow
  • 2 x Stainless Exhaust Straps – robust mounting hardware designed for secure, vibration-resistant installation
  • 2 x Exhaust Strap Rubbers – high-quality rubber isolators that absorb vibration and prevent metal-to-metal contact
  • Complete fitting instructions to guide you through the installation process

The exhaust system is engineered to fit straight onto the standard OEM downpipes, making installation remarkably straightforward for home mechanics and professional workshops alike. This direct-fit design eliminates the need for cutting, welding, or fabrication work, significantly reducing installation time and complexity. Whether you’re an experienced motorcyclist who prefers to work on your own bike or you’re having the system fitted by a professional, you can expect a hassle-free installation experience.

Why Choose Carbon Can Co Yamaha Performance Superbike Exhausts

Carbon Can Co Ltd has established itself as a leading manufacturer of premium motorcycle exhaust systems, with particular expertise in creating application-specific solutions for popular models. The company’s commitment to using high-grade stainless steel 304 ensures exceptional corrosion resistance, which is particularly important for riders who use their FJR1300 throughout the year in all weather conditions. Stainless steel 304 offers superior longevity compared to mild steel alternatives and maintains its appearance with minimal maintenance, ensuring your investment continues to look impressive for years to come.

The auditory enhancement provided by this exhaust system is particularly noteworthy. The FJR1300’s inline-four engine produces a distinctive sound that many riders feel is somewhat muted by the standard exhaust system. Carbon Can Co’s performance exhaust unleashes a deeper, more purposeful tone that better reflects the bike’s sporting character without becoming antisocially loud. You can hear the difference in the YouTube video linked above, which demonstrates the exhaust note during startup, idle, and acceleration.

Beyond aesthetics and sound, performance exhausts can offer tangible benefits in terms of weight reduction compared to the standard system. Reducing unsprung and overall weight improves handling characteristics and can contribute to improved fuel efficiency during spirited riding. Additionally, the improved exhaust gas flow characteristics may support future performance modifications such as ECU remapping or air filter upgrades.

Installation and Compatibility for Yamaha Performance Superbike Exhausts

This exhaust system has been specifically designed for YAMAHA FJR1300 models from 2001 through to 2023, covering multiple generations of this popular sport-tourer. The comprehensive model year coverage means that whether you own an early first-generation model or a recent iteration, this exhaust system will fit correctly. The inclusion of all necessary mounting hardware and rubbers ensures that you won’t need to source additional components or reuse worn parts from your original system.

For riders of other Yamaha models seeking similar quality upgrades, Carbon Can Co offers an extensive range of solutions. The Yamaha Ténéré 700 T7 Hi Level exhaust system delivers comparable quality and engineering excellence for adventure bike enthusiasts, while sportbike riders might consider the Yamaha YZF-R125 2014-2020 exhaust options for younger riders or those on A1 licences.

When installing any aftermarket exhaust system, it’s advisable to consult your local regulations regarding noise emissions and modifications. The UK’s vehicle construction and use regulations are overseen by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, and riders should ensure their modifications remain compliant.
