If you’re searching for premium kawasaki performance superbike exhausts to transform your Kawasaki Versys KLZ1000 2012 – 2019, Carbon Can Co Ltd delivers an exceptional aftermarket exhaust system that combines superior engineering, outstanding acoustic performance, and straightforward installation. Designed specifically for adventure touring enthusiasts who demand both reliability and enhanced performance, this exhaust system represents the pinnacle of British craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Premium Kawasaki Performance Superbike Exhausts for the Versys KLZ1000

The Kawasaki Versys KLZ1000 has earned its reputation as one of the most versatile adventure touring motorcycles on the market, capable of handling everything from urban commuting to long-distance continental rides. However, the standard OEM exhaust system, whilst functional, often leaves riders wanting more in terms of sound quality, weight reduction, and aesthetic appeal. Our kawasaki performance superbike exhausts address all these concerns whilst maintaining complete compatibility with your existing factory downpipes, making installation remarkably straightforward even for home mechanics.

This comprehensive exhaust package includes everything required for a professional-quality installation. You receive one precision-engineered stainless steel 304 CNC mandrel bent link pipe, manufactured to exacting tolerances that ensure perfect fitment every time. The mandrel bending process is crucial because it maintains consistent internal diameter throughout all bends, eliminating restrictive pinch points that can impede exhaust gas flow and ultimately rob your motorcycle of valuable horsepower and torque.

Additionally, the kit includes one stainless steel exhaust strap and one exhaust strap rubber mounting, providing secure and vibration-dampened attachment that protects both your exhaust system and motorcycle frame from stress damage over thousands of miles of riding. These components might seem minor, but they play a vital role in system longevity and performance consistency.

Engineering Excellence Behind Our Kawasaki Performance Superbike Exhausts

Carbon Can Co Ltd takes pride in manufacturing kawasaki performance superbike exhausts that deliver measurable improvements across multiple performance metrics. The use of 304-grade stainless steel represents a deliberate material choice that balances corrosion resistance, thermal properties, and structural integrity. This aerospace-grade alloy withstands the extreme temperatures generated by high-performance engines whilst resisting the corrosive effects of road salt, moisture, and environmental pollutants that British riders encounter regularly.

The CNC mandrel bending process employed in manufacturing these link pipes ensures that internal flow characteristics remain optimised throughout the entire exhaust path. Unlike crush-bent alternatives that create turbulence and back-pressure, mandrel-bent systems allow exhaust gases to exit more efficiently, which can translate into improved throttle response, slightly enhanced fuel economy during steady-state cruising, and a more satisfying exhaust note that reflects the true character of your Versys KLZ1000’s powerful inline-four engine.

Installation is designed to be completely straightforward, as this exhaust system fits directly to your standard OEM downpipes without requiring any modification, cutting, or welding. This bolt-on approach means you can complete the installation in your own garage with basic hand tools, and should you ever need to return to stock configuration for any reason, the process is completely reversible.

Why Choose These Kawasaki Performance Superbike Exhausts Over Competitors

When comparing aftermarket exhaust options for your Kawasaki Versys KLZ1000, several factors should influence your decision. Carbon Can Co Ltd distinguishes itself through meticulous attention to British manufacturing standards, comprehensive fitment testing, and genuine customer support. Unlike mass-produced imports that may require adjustment or modification to achieve proper fitment, our kawasaki performance superbike exhausts are engineered specifically for your motorcycle model and year range.

The acoustic improvement delivered by this system strikes an ideal balance between assertive presence and practical usability. You’ll enjoy a deeper, more purposeful exhaust note that enhances the riding experience without creating excessive noise that might attract unwanted attention during early morning departures or when riding through noise-sensitive areas. This considered approach to sound engineering reflects our understanding that Versys owners value versatility and practicality alongside performance.

Weight reduction represents another significant advantage. By replacing heavy stock components with our optimised stainless steel system, you’ll reduce unsprung mass and improve your motorcycle’s power-to-weight ratio. Whilst the difference might seem modest on paper, experienced riders often report noticeable improvements in handling responsiveness and overall agility, particularly during spirited riding on twisty roads.

Installation and Compatibility for Kawasaki Performance Superbike Exhausts

This exhaust system has been specifically engineered for the Kawasaki Versys KLZ1000 covering model years 2012 through 2019. The design accounts for the specific mounting points, clearances, and geometry unique to this generation of Versys, ensuring perfect alignment with your motorcycle’s factory downpipes. Before installation, we recommend inspecting your existing exhaust mounting points and hardware for any signs of wear or corrosion that might compromise the integrity of your new system.

The installation process typically requires approximately one to two hours depending on your mechanical experience and available tools. You’ll need basic socket sets, torque wrenches for proper fastener tensioning, and ideally a motorcycle stand or lift to provide comfortable working access. The included stainless exhaust strap and rubber mounting should be installed according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring that the system is securely mounted whilst retaining sufficient flexibility to accommodate thermal expansion and engine movement.

For riders interested in exploring our complete range of Kawasaki exhaust solutions, Carbon Can Co Ltd offers systems for numerous models including the Kawasaki Z H2 Supernaked 2020 and the Kawasaki ZX-4RR 2024, each engineered with the same commitment to quality and performance.

Performance Benefits and Real-World Advantages

Beyond the immediately noticeable acoustic improvements, these kawasaki performance superbike exhausts deliver tangible performance advantages that enhance your riding experience. Improved exhaust gas scavenging can contribute to slightly increased power output across the rev range, with most riders reporting particularly noticeable improvements in mid-range throttle response where the Versys spends most of its operating time during real-world riding.

The reduced back-pressure inherent in a well-designed aftermarket exhaust system allows your engine to breathe more efficiently, potentially improving fuel consumption during steady-state cruising whilst simultaneously delivering more enthusiastic performance when you demand it. This combination of efficiency and performance perfectly complements the Versys’s character as a versatile sport-touring machine.

Aesthetically, the polished stainless steel construction provides a premium appearance that elevates your motorcycle’s visual presence. The quality of materials and finish stands up to close inspection and maintains its appearance through years of regular use, resisting the discolouration and corrosion that often plague lesser-quality exhaust systems.
