When it comes to upgrading your adventure bike, few modifications deliver the impact of premium yamaha performance superbike exhausts, and the Carbon Can Co Ltd exhaust system for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 T7 is engineered to transform both the sound and performance of this legendary adventure machine. Designed specifically for the Yamaha XTZ 700 Ténéré T7 from 2019 onwards, this meticulously crafted exhaust system represents the perfect balance between function, durability, and that distinctive exhaust note that every rider craves on both tarmac and trail.

Premium Yamaha Performance Superbike Exhausts Engineering for Adventure Riding

The Carbon Can Co exhaust system for the Ténéré 700 T7 showcases the exceptional quality and attention to detail that defines professional-grade yamaha performance superbike exhausts. Each system includes a precision-manufactured stainless steel 304 CNC mandrel bent link pipe, engineered to maximise exhaust gas flow whilst maintaining perfect compatibility with your standard OEM downpipes. This mandrel bending process ensures consistent internal diameter throughout the pipe, eliminating restrictions and turbulence that can rob your engine of power and throttle response.

The complete kit arrives ready to install with everything you need: one premium stainless steel exhaust strap, one high-quality exhaust strap rubber, and cleverly designed heat shield brackets that allow you to refit the standard OEM heat shield. This thoughtful engineering means you maintain essential heat protection for both rider and pillion whilst enjoying the benefits of an aftermarket exhaust system. The plug-and-play nature of this system makes it accessible to home mechanics whilst meeting the exacting standards demanded by professional workshops.

Why Choose Carbon Can Co Yamaha Performance Superbike Exhausts?

Carbon Can Co Ltd has built a reputation for delivering exceptional quality exhaust systems across the Yamaha range, and this Ténéré 700 T7 system exemplifies that commitment. Using grade 304 stainless steel throughout ensures remarkable corrosion resistance—absolutely essential for adventure bikes that face everything from salt-laden coastal roads to muddy forest trails. Unlike cheaper alternatives that may rust or corrode after a single season, this system is built to withstand years of demanding use across varied terrain and weather conditions.

The direct-fit design means this exhaust bolts straight to your standard OEM downpipes without any cutting, welding, or permanent modifications to your motorcycle. This preservation of the original components maintains your bike’s resale value whilst allowing you to enjoy the performance and acoustic benefits of upgraded yamaha performance superbike exhausts. Should you ever wish to return to standard specification, the process is completely reversible.

Performance Benefits and Sound Characteristics

Adventure riders choosing this system report noticeable improvements in throttle response, particularly in the mid-range where the Ténéré 700 spends most of its working life. The optimised exhaust flow reduces back pressure, allowing the parallel-twin engine to breathe more efficiently and deliver power with greater urgency. This translates to more responsive acceleration when overtaking on country roads or tackling challenging off-road climbs where precise throttle control is paramount.

The acoustic transformation is equally impressive. The standard Ténéré 700 exhaust is notoriously quiet—excellent for early morning departures but lacking the characterful note that many riders prefer. This Carbon Can Co system delivers a deeper, more purposeful tone that announces your presence without becoming antisocial or tiresome on long-distance rides. You can hear the genuine character of the CP2 engine, adding to the overall riding experience whether you’re exploring Scottish highlands or navigating Alpine passes.

Installation and Compatibility With Other Yamaha Performance Superbike Exhausts

The installation process is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic motorcycle maintenance. The system requires only standard tools and can typically be fitted in under an hour. The precision engineering ensures perfect alignment with mounting points, eliminating the frustration of poorly-fitting aftermarket parts that require excessive force or adjustment. Detailed instructions guide you through each step, and the Carbon Can Co YouTube channel provides visual installation guides that make the process even simpler.

Carbon Can Co offers an extensive range of exhaust solutions across the Yamaha lineup. If you’re interested in alternative mounting positions, the Yamaha Ténéré 700 T7 Hi Level variant positions the silencer higher on the bike, improving ground clearance for serious off-road riding whilst maintaining the same quality construction and performance benefits. For riders with different Yamaha models in their garage, the company also produces excellent systems for sport bikes including the Yamaha YZF-R125 full stainless system and Mini oval exhaust.

Technical Specifications and Build Quality

Every component in this exhaust system reflects Carbon Can Co’s commitment to manufacturing excellence. The mandrel bent link pipe maintains consistent wall thickness and internal diameter, crucial for optimal exhaust gas velocity and scavenging. The 304-grade stainless steel specification provides superior corrosion resistance compared to the 201-grade material used in budget alternatives, ensuring the system retains its appearance and structural integrity throughout its service life.

The heat shield bracket design demonstrates intelligent engineering, allowing integration with OEM components whilst accommodating the different dimensions of the aftermarket exhaust. This attention to detail extends to the exhaust strap and rubber mounting, which are manufactured to exact specifications to ensure secure mounting without excessive vibration transmission to the chassis. These components may seem minor, but they’re critical for long-term reliability and rider comfort.
