If you’re seeking to transform your adventure tourer with premium ktm performance superbike exhausts, this bespoke system for the KTM 1190 Adventure 2013 onwards delivers exceptional engineering quality, weight savings, and an enhanced riding experience. Manufactured in the UK by Carbon Can Co Ltd, this exhaust system represents the pinnacle of aftermarket performance engineering for one of KTM’s most capable adventure motorcycles.

The KTM 1190 Adventure is renowned for its robust V-twin powerplant and versatile capabilities both on and off-road. When you upgrade with our precision-engineered exhaust system, you’re not simply replacing a component—you’re unlocking the true potential of your machine whilst shedding unnecessary weight and gaining that distinctive exhaust note that makes every journey more engaging.

What’s Included with These KTM Performance Superbike Exhausts

This comprehensive exhaust system comes with everything you need for a straightforward installation. Each kit includes one stainless 304 CNC mandrel bent link pipe, engineered to exacting tolerances to ensure perfect fitment with your standard OEM downpipes. The mandrel bending process is crucial here—unlike crush-bent alternatives, mandrel bending maintains consistent internal diameter throughout the pipe, ensuring optimal exhaust gas flow without restrictive pinch points that can hamper performance.

You’ll also receive one stainless exhaust strap and one exhaust strap rubber, providing secure mounting that withstands the vibrations and stresses of both road and off-road riding. These components work together to create a robust,attle-free installation that will serve you reliably for thousands of miles.

The system is designed as a direct replacement, fitting straight to your standard factory downpipes without requiring modifications or additional fabrication work. This bolt-on approach means you can complete the installation in your own garage with basic tools, saving on professional fitting costs whilst enjoying the satisfaction of upgrading your bike yourself.

Engineering Excellence Behind KTM Performance Superbike Exhausts

Carbon Can Co Ltd manufactures these ktm performance superbike exhausts using premium grade 304 stainless steel, selected specifically for its excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and high-temperature performance characteristics. This material choice ensures your exhaust system will maintain its appearance and structural integrity even when exposed to the elements during year-round riding and challenging off-road conditions.

The CNC mandrel bending process employed in manufacturing these link pipes represents a significant step up from mass-produced alternatives. By maintaining consistent internal dimensions throughout every bend, we ensure exhaust gases can evacuate efficiently, reducing back pressure and allowing your 1190’s V-twin engine to breathe more freely. This translates to improved throttle response, particularly in the mid-range where adventure riders spend most of their time.

Weight reduction is another significant benefit. The standard OEM exhaust system on the KTM 1190 Adventure is built to meet strict noise regulations and durability requirements, but this often comes at the expense of carrying unnecessary mass. Our aftermarket system strips away excess weight without compromising strength or reliability, lowering your bike’s overall weight and improving handling characteristics—particularly noticeable when manoeuvring at low speeds or tackling technical off-road sections.

Performance Benefits and Sound Characteristics

Riders who upgrade to quality ktm performance superbike exhausts consistently report noticeable improvements in throttle response and engine character. The KTM 1190 Adventure’s 1195cc LC8 V-twin engine is a magnificent powerplant, but the restrictive standard exhaust can muffle its personality. With improved flow characteristics, you’ll experience crisper acceleration and a more engaging connection with your motorcycle’s power delivery.

The exhaust note transforms as well, revealing the characterful rumble of the V-twin configuration without becoming antisocially loud. This system strikes an excellent balance—providing that satisfying mechanical symphony that makes every ride more enjoyable whilst remaining considerate enough for early morning departures and residential areas.

If you’re upgrading other KTM models in your garage, Carbon Can Co Ltd offers similar quality systems across the range, including options for the KTM 790 Adventurer 2019-2020, giving you access to the same engineering excellence regardless of which model you ride.

Installation and Compatibility

One of the standout features of these ktm performance superbike exhausts is the straightforward installation process. The system has been designed specifically for the KTM 1190 Adventure models from 2013 onwards, ensuring precise fitment without modification. The link pipe connects directly to your existing OEM downpipes, and the included mounting hardware provides secure, vibration-resistant attachment.

Before beginning installation, we recommend allowing your motorcycle to cool completely if it has been recently ridden. Gather your basic tools—typically socket sets, Allen keys, and a torque wrench for final tightening to manufacturer specifications. Take photographs of your original setup before removal to serve as reference if needed, though the logical design of this system makes reassembly intuitive.

When fitting the exhaust strap, ensure the rubber component is correctly positioned to allow for thermal expansion whilst preventing metal-to-metal contact that could create unwanted noise. Check all connections are secure before starting the engine, and perform a brief inspection after your first ride to confirm everything has settled into position correctly.

Quality Assurance and Long-Term Performance

Carbon Can Co Ltd’s reputation is built on manufacturing ktm performance superbike exhausts that deliver lasting performance and reliability. Each component undergoes rigorous quality control before dispatch, ensuring you receive a product that meets exacting standards. The 304 stainless steel construction resists corrosion even in harsh winter conditions or when subjected to salt spray, muddy trails, and temperature extremes.

Regular maintenance is minimal—periodic visual inspections to check mounting security and occasional cleaning to remove road grime will keep your exhaust system looking and performing like new for years. Unlike mild steel alternatives that can rust through within a few seasons, stainless construction provides genuine long-term value.

For riders looking to upgrade other models, the KTM 390 Duke 2019- system offers similar quality engineering tailored to that platform’s specific requirements.
