Premium KTM Performance Superbike Exhausts Engineering

The Carbon Can Co Ltd exhaust system represents the pinnacle of aftermarket exhaust engineering for the KTM 790 Adventure. This complete system features a precision-engineered 380mm MTC exhaust can paired with a CNC mandrel bent link pipe system that ensures optimal exhaust gas flow throughout the entire rev range. The mandrel bending process maintains consistent internal diameter throughout all curves and bends, eliminating the restrictions commonly found in crush-bent systems and maximising both power output and throttle response.

Each component has been meticulously crafted to provide a perfect fit for your 2019-2020 KTM 790 Adventure, with the included heat shield protecting both rider and surrounding components from excessive temperatures during spirited riding or challenging off-road conditions. The slip-on fitting design means installation is straightforward, allowing most riders to complete the upgrade in their own garage with basic tools and mechanical knowledge.

Performance Benefits of Upgrading Your KTM Performance Superbike Exhausts

The advantages of fitting this exhaust system to your KTM 790 Adventure extend far beyond aesthetics. The improved exhaust flow reduces back pressure, allowing your twin-cylinder engine to breathe more efficiently throughout the power band. Riders typically experience sharper throttle response, particularly in the mid-range where adventure bikes spend most of their time, whether navigating technical trails or overtaking on motorways.

Weight reduction represents another significant benefit. Factory exhaust systems often prioritise cost over performance, resulting in heavier components that add unnecessary mass to your motorcycle. This aftermarket solution sheds kilograms from your machine, lowering the centre of gravity and improving handling characteristics both on tarmac and off-road terrain. For adventure riders who tackle challenging terrain, every kilogramme saved translates to reduced rider fatigue and improved manoeuvrability.

The acoustic improvement deserves special mention. Whilst remaining road-legal and respectful of noise regulations, this exhaust delivers a deeper, more purposeful tone that enhances the riding experience without causing excessive drone during long-distance touring. The characteristic parallel-twin note of the KTM 790 Adventure becomes more pronounced, giving audible feedback that helps riders judge engine load and gear selection intuitively.

Why Choose Carbon Can Co Ltd for KTM Performance Superbike Exhausts

Carbon Can Co Ltd has established itself as a trusted name in the motorcycle exhaust industry, serving riders who refuse to compromise on quality. Each exhaust system undergoes rigorous quality control processes to ensure it meets the exacting standards demanded by performance-oriented riders. The use of premium materials, including high-grade stainless steel for mounting hardware and precision-engineered aluminium for exhaust components, guarantees longevity even under demanding conditions.

For KTM enthusiasts exploring other models in the range, Carbon Can Co Ltd offers exceptional exhaust solutions across the entire KTM lineup. Whether you’re riding a KTM 990 ADVENTURER 2006-2013 or prefer the agility of a KTM 390 Duke 2019, you’ll find purpose-built exhaust systems engineered to unlock your machine’s full potential.

Installation and Compatibility Considerations

This exhaust system has been specifically designed for the KTM 790 Adventure manufactured between 2019 and 2020. The slip-on design with link pipe configuration means you’re replacing the mid-section and silencer whilst retaining the factory headers, striking an ideal balance between performance gains and installation simplicity. Most mechanically competent riders can complete installation within an hour using standard tools.

Before installation, ensure your motorcycle is on a stable stand and the existing exhaust system has cooled completely. Remove the factory exhaust by loosening the mounting hardware and connection points, then carefully manoeuvre the old system away from the motorcycle. The new Carbon Can Co Ltd exhaust slides into place using the supplied clamps and mounting hardware, with the heat shield positioned to protect vulnerable components. Torque all fasteners to manufacturer specifications and allow the exhaust to heat cycle several times before final tightening to account for thermal expansion.

Maintenance and Long-Term Care

One of the advantages of premium ktm performance superbike exhausts like this Carbon Can Co Ltd system is the minimal maintenance required. The stainless steel hardware resists corrosion, whilst the high-quality exhaust can finish maintains its appearance with basic cleaning. Periodically inspect all mounting points and connection clamps, particularly after off-road riding sessions where vibration and impacts are more severe. Retightening hardware after the first few heat cycles ensures optimal sealing and prevents unwanted rattles or exhaust leaks.

Adventure riders who frequently encounter water crossings should pay particular attention to drainage. Whilst the exhaust system is designed to handle typical adventure riding conditions, ensuring water can drain freely from the system after deep crossings extends component life and maintains optimal performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, the slip-on design with link pipe makes this a straightforward installation for anyone with basic mechanical skills and standard tools. The comprehensive hardware package includes everything needed for a professional result.

What weight savings can I expect?
Aftermarket exhaust systems typically save between 2-4 kilograms compared to factory systems, with the exact figure varying based on the original equipment specifications.
