When it comes to upgrading your machine with premium aprilia performance superbike exhausts, the Aprilia RSV TUONO 1000R & Fighter 2002-2005 exhaust system from Carbon Can Co Ltd represents the pinnacle of British engineering excellence and motorsport-inspired design. This comprehensive exhaust solution has been meticulously crafted to deliver outstanding performance gains, reduced weight, and an exhilarating exhaust note that truly befits Aprilia’s legendary V-twin powerplant.

Premium Aprilia Performance Superbike Exhausts: Complete System Overview

This professionally engineered motorbike exhaust system has been specifically designed for the Aprilia RSV TUONO 1000R and Fighter models manufactured between 2002 and 2005. Each system is supplied as a complete kit, ensuring a straightforward installation process that can be completed in your home garage with standard tools. The package includes one stainless steel 304 CNC mandrel-bent link pipe featuring a spring hook fitting for secure attachment, one stainless steel exhaust strap for robust mounting, and one exhaust strap rubber to isolate vibration and protect your motorcycle’s finish.

The engineering philosophy behind this exhaust centres on delivering maximum performance without compromising reliability or requiring extensive modifications to your motorcycle’s fueling system. Our exhausts are manufactured to give maximum power straight out of the box, making them ideal for riders who want instant results without the complexity and expense of remapping. However, if your Aprilia is fitted with an aftermarket air filter and/or a de-cat system, we always recommend having the bike’s fueling professionally assessed to fully compliment the engine performance and efficiency gains that our exhaust systems provide.

Why Choose Carbon Can Co Aprilia Performance Superbike Exhausts?

The Aprilia RSV TUONO 1000R and Fighter models are renowned for their explosive performance and distinctive character, and our exhaust system has been developed to enhance these qualities whilst adding tangible benefits across the rev range. By utilising premium-grade stainless steel 304 and employing CNC mandrel-bent construction techniques, we ensure that every exhaust maintains consistent internal diameter throughout its length, eliminating the restrictions and turbulence that plague cheaper, crush-bent alternatives.

This exhaust is made to fit straight to the standard OEM downpipes, meaning you don’t need to purchase additional components or make irreversible modifications to your motorcycle’s original equipment. The spring hook fitting system ensures a secure, gas-tight seal whilst allowing for the natural thermal expansion that occurs during operation. This professional fitment approach reduces installation time and eliminates the frustration often associated with aftermarket exhaust systems that require extensive modification or fabrication.

Performance Benefits and Engineering Excellence

The performance advantages delivered by these aprilia performance superbike exhausts extend far beyond simple noise enhancement. The mandrel-bent construction ensures smooth, unrestricted exhaust gas flow, reducing back pressure and allowing your engine to breathe more efficiently throughout the rev range. This translates to noticeable improvements in throttle response, mid-range torque delivery, and top-end power output. Riders consistently report a more eager and responsive feel from their machines after installation, with the engine pulling more cleanly from lower revs and sustaining power delivery right through to the redline.

Weight reduction represents another significant advantage of upgrading to our exhaust system. The standard OEM exhaust components on these Aprilia models are considerably heavier than necessary, adding unnecessary bulk that impacts handling dynamics and overall performance. By switching to our lightweight stainless steel construction, you’ll reduce unsprung mass and improve your motorcycle’s agility, making it more responsive to steering inputs and enhancing overall riding enjoyment.

The exhaust note produced by this system perfectly captures the character of Aprilia’s legendary 60-degree V-twin engine. You’ll experience a deep, purposeful tone that communicates the engine’s sporting pedigree without becoming intrusive or antisocial. The sound quality strikes an ideal balance between excitement and refinement, ensuring you can enjoy spirited riding without attracting unwanted attention or causing neighbourly disputes.

Professional Installation and Fitment Guidance for Aprilia Performance Superbike Exhausts

Installation of this exhaust system is straightforward for anyone with basic mechanical competence and a suitable workspace. The system has been designed to fit directly to your standard downpipes without requiring cutting, welding, or permanent modifications to your motorcycle. We recommend conducting the installation with the engine cold to avoid burn injuries, and ensuring you have a suitable rear paddock stand to safely elevate and stabilise the motorcycle during the fitting process.

Before commencing installation, thoroughly inspect all components to ensure nothing has been damaged during shipping. Check that the spring hook fitting operates smoothly and that the exhaust strap and rubber mounting are in perfect condition. Clean the mating surface on your OEM downpipes to ensure optimal sealing, and apply a small amount of copper-based high-temperature grease to the spring hooks to facilitate easier assembly and future removal.

When tightening the exhaust strap, avoid over-tightening, which can damage the canister or distort mounting brackets. Finger-tight plus a quarter turn is typically sufficient to ensure secure mounting whilst allowing for thermal expansion. After installation, start the engine and carefully check for exhaust leaks around all joints and connections before taking the motorcycle out on the road.
