When searching for honda performance superbike exhausts, riders of the Honda CB500X 2016-2019 demand quality, performance, and reliability from their aftermarket components. Carbon Can Co Ltd delivers precisely that with this expertly engineered exhaust system, designed specifically for adventure riders who refuse to compromise on sound, performance, or build quality. This premium exhaust upgrade transforms your CB500X into a machine that not only performs better but sounds absolutely magnificent, whether you’re carving through country lanes or embarking on continental tours.

Premium Honda Performance Superbike Exhausts Engineering for the CB500X

This meticulously crafted exhaust system for the Honda CB500X 2016-2019 represents the pinnacle of British manufacturing excellence. Each unit comes complete with a precision-engineered stainless steel 304 CNC mandrel bent link pipe, specifically designed to maintain optimal exhaust gas flow whilst ensuring a perfect fitment to your motorcycle. The inclusion of the centre stand attachment demonstrates the thoughtful engineering that sets this system apart from cheaper alternatives that force you to sacrifice practicality for performance.

The complete kit includes one stainless steel exhaust strap and one exhaust strap rubber, ensuring secure mounting and vibration dampening for long-term reliability. Unlike inferior products that require modification or specialist fitting, this exhaust is manufactured to fit straight onto the standard OEM downpipes, making installation straightforward for both professional workshops and competent home mechanics. The use of grade 304 stainless steel ensures exceptional corrosion resistance, crucial for British weather conditions and essential for riders who use their CB500X year-round in all conditions.

Why Choose These Honda Performance Superbike Exhausts for Your Adventure Bike

The Honda CB500X occupies a unique position in the adventure motorcycle market, offering accessible performance and genuine versatility. However, the standard exhaust system, whilst functional, severely restricts the bike’s true potential. By upgrading to this performance exhaust, you’ll unlock noticeable improvements across multiple aspects of your riding experience. The mandrel-bent construction ensures consistent internal diameter throughout the pipe, eliminating restrictive crush bends that hamper exhaust gas evacuation and reduce power output.

Weight reduction is another significant advantage of this exhaust system. The lightweight construction removes unnecessary bulk from the rear of the motorcycle, improving handling characteristics and reducing unsprung mass. This translates to sharper steering response, improved suspension performance, and enhanced agility when navigating technical terrain or threading through urban traffic. For adventure riders who frequently load their bikes with luggage for extended tours, every gramme saved contributes to better overall weight distribution and improved fuel economy.

Performance Gains and Sound Enhancement

Beyond the measurable performance improvements, the acoustic transformation is perhaps the most immediately noticeable benefit. The standard CB500X exhaust produces a muted, somewhat industrial note that fails to communicate the parallel-twin engine’s character. This performance exhaust releases a deep, purposeful tone that enhances the riding experience without becoming antisocial or attracting unwanted attention from authorities. The sound complies with track day noise regulations whilst still providing that satisfying soundtrack that makes every journey more engaging.

Throttle response becomes noticeably crisper, particularly in the mid-range where the CB500X engine produces its most usable power. The improved gas flow reduces back pressure, allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently throughout the rev range. Riders report improved fuel consumption in real-world conditions, as the engine no longer works as hard to expel exhaust gases, resulting in more efficient combustion cycles and reduced pumping losses.

Installation and Compatibility of Honda Performance Superbike Exhausts

The fitment process has been streamlined to ensure compatibility with the Honda CB500X models from 2016 through 2019. The system bolts directly to the existing mounting points and mates perfectly with the OEM downpipes, eliminating the need for cutting, welding, or permanent modifications to your motorcycle. This reversibility is particularly valuable for riders on lease agreements or those who may wish to return to standard specification before selling their machine.

The included hardware ensures proper installation, with the stainless exhaust strap providing secure mounting and the rubber component isolating vibrations that could otherwise lead to fatigue cracking or loosening over time. The centre stand attachment has been precisely positioned to maintain full functionality of this essential feature, something that cheaper alternatives often overlook, forcing owners to choose between performance and practicality.

For riders exploring other models in the Honda range, Carbon Can Co Ltd offers similarly high-quality solutions, including the Honda NC750 X 2021 exhaust system, which shares the same commitment to quality and performance that defines all their products. The company also caters to classic adventure bikes with their Honda XRV750 Africa Twin exhaust, demonstrating their expertise across multiple generations of Honda motorcycles.

Material Quality and Longevity

The choice of 304-grade stainless steel represents a deliberate engineering decision prioritising longevity and corrosion resistance. This marine-grade material withstands exposure to road salt, moisture, and temperature extremes without degrading, ensuring your investment continues to perform and look exceptional for years. The CNC mandrel bending process creates smooth internal surfaces that resist carbon buildup and maintain consistent flow characteristics throughout the exhaust’s service life.

Regular maintenance requires nothing more than occasional cleaning to remove road grime and preserve the polished finish. Unlike mild steel exhausts that require constant attention to prevent rust, or titanium systems that demand careful handling to avoid discolouration, this stainless steel construction offers the perfect balance of performance, durability, and practicality for real-world motorcycling.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this exhaust pass MOT emissions testing? Yes, when fitted to a properly maintained motorcycle with correct fuelling, this exhaust system will not adversely affect emissions compliance. However, we always recommend checking with your testing station regarding any modifications.

Does installation require remapping? Whilst the exhaust will function perfectly with standard mapping, a professional remap or ECU flash can optimise fuel delivery to maximise the performance benefits and ensure ideal air-fuel ratios throughout the rev range.

Is the exhaust system road legal? Yes, this exhaust has been designed for road use and complies with current noise regulations when properly installed on a standard motorcycle.

What tools are required for installation? Basic hand tools including spanners, sockets, and Allen keys are sufficient. Copper grease and new exhaust gaskets are recommended for optimal sealing.
