Unleash the full potential of your iconic mini bike with the honda monkey 125cc performance road-legal/race exhaust muffler & system, expertly engineered and manufactured in Britain by Carbon Can Co Ltd. This premium exhaust system transforms your Honda Monkey 125cc from a charming commuter into a responsive, powerful machine that delivers enhanced performance, reduced weight, and an exhilarating exhaust note that turns heads wherever you ride.

When you invest in this honda monkey 125cc performance road-legal/race exhaust muffler & system, you receive a complete, premium-quality setup designed to replace your restrictive standard exhaust. Your package includes a beautifully crafted T304 stainless steel front pipe and header, engineered to fit your Honda Monkey 125cc precisely as the original equipment, but with significant improvements in both construction and performance characteristics.

The system also includes a compact Mini Oval silencer available in your choice of finish, allowing you to customise the appearance to match your bike’s aesthetic. Unlike the heavy, restrictive standard catalytic converter and exhaust system, our British-made components are significantly lighter whilst delivering superior exhaust gas flow. This optimised flow path allows your engine to breathe more freely, resulting in noticeable power gains and improved throttle response throughout the rev range.

The down-pipe is designed to fit using your existing standard OEM gasket, maintaining perfect alignment and simplifying installation. The rear silencer comes complete with a bespoke fitting bracket and mounting strap, ensuring secure attachment without any modification to your frame. We recommend using a normal silicone-based household sealant to create a gas-tight seal between components, ensuring optimal performance and preventing any unwanted exhaust leaks.

The transformation you’ll experience after fitting this honda monkey 125cc performance road-legal/race exhaust muffler & system extends far beyond just improved sound. The removal of the restrictive standard catalytic converter box and replacement with our free-flowing system delivers multiple performance advantages that enhance your riding experience considerably.

Weight Reduction: The T304 stainless steel construction is significantly lighter than the standard cast iron and heavy mild steel components fitted as original equipment. Reducing unsprung and overall weight improves handling, acceleration, and fuel efficiency.

Power Gains: By optimising exhaust gas flow and eliminating back pressure created by the restrictive standard catalytic converter, your Honda Monkey 125cc engine can produce more power across the entire rev range. Expect noticeable improvements in acceleration and top-end performance.

Enhanced Sound: Enjoy a deeper, more purposeful exhaust note that reflects the sporting character of your bike whilst remaining within acceptable noise levels for road-legal use or track days.

Superior Build Quality: T304 stainless steel offers exceptional corrosion resistance and longevity compared to standard mild steel exhausts, which can rust and deteriorate rapidly, especially in British weather conditions. Your investment is protected for years to come.

British Manufacturing: Each system is manufactured to exacting standards here in Britain, supporting local industry and ensuring quality control throughout the production process.

Fitting your new honda monkey 125cc performance road-legal/race exhaust muffler & system is straightforward for anyone with reasonable mechanical ability and a basic toolkit. Whilst this is typically a workshop job, competent home mechanics will find the installation process manageable with proper preparation and attention to detail.

The system has been designed to be a direct replacement for the standard exhaust, utilising existing mounting points and the original OEM gasket. You’ll need to remove the standard exhaust system completely, including the catalytic converter box, before fitting the new stainless steel front pipe and header. Apply silicone-based sealant to the joints to ensure a perfect gas-tight seal, then secure the Mini Oval silencer using the supplied bracket and mounting strap.

Carbon Can Co Ltd manufactures exhaust systems for numerous Honda models, including popular machines like the Honda NC750 X 2021 and many others, so you can trust in our extensive experience with Honda exhaust design and fitment.

Technical Specifications and Compatibility

This performance exhaust system has been specifically designed for the Honda Monkey 125cc model, ensuring perfect fitment without any modification required to your motorcycle. The T304 grade stainless steel used throughout the construction offers superior corrosion resistance compared to lesser grade materials, maintaining its appearance and structural integrity even when exposed to harsh weather, road salt, and high temperatures.

The Mini Oval silencer design provides an excellent balance between performance, sound quality, and compact dimensions that suit the Monkey’s distinctive styling. The lightweight construction doesn’t compromise durability, with all welds and joints manufactured to professional standards that meet or exceed original equipment specifications.

For riders seeking similar performance upgrades for other Honda models, Carbon Can Co Ltd offers systems across the range, from adventure bikes like the Honda XRV750 Africa Twin to high-performance sportsbikes.

Is this exhaust system road-legal?
The system is designed for both road-legal and race use. However, regulations vary by region, and removing catalytic converters may affect emissions compliance. We recommend checking your local regulations before installation.

Will I need to remap my ECU after installation?
For optimal performance, ECU remapping or fuelling adjustments are recommended to take full advantage of the improved exhaust flow characteristics.

How much weight will I save?
The exact weight saving depends on your specific model year, but expect to reduce overall weight by approximately 3-4 kilograms compared to the standard exhaust system.

What tools will I need for installation?
Basic hand tools including spanners, sockets, and screwdrivers are sufficient. A torque wrench is recommended for final tightening to manufacturer specifications.

2024 Road legal exhaust statement:

At Max Torque Cans we prioritise safety and compliance in the world of motorcycle exhausts. Our commitment to adhering to regulations is evident in our product design and labelling, and hence with new updates from ACEM, DVSA and DfT, we are ensuring our exhaust systems are compliant with new and upcoming legislation and regulations. Specifically, two changes detailed below:

Road Legal Exhausts: Our road legal exhausts will have the BSAU stamped markings and be crafted with non-removable baffles, aligning seamlessly with the standards set by ACEM (European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers). These baffles are an integral part of our design to ensure that your motorcycle exhaust complies with road regulations, providing you with a legal and enjoyable riding experience.

Race Exhausts and Silencers:  For those seeking an exhilarating experience on the track, our race exhausts are engineered to deliver optimal performance. Clearly marked with type approval markings “Not for Road Use” etched into the side, these exhausts are specifically designed for racing applications. This distinction is in line with DVSA policy, ensuring that our race exhausts are suitable for track use, meeting the highest performance standards without compromising on safety.
