Whether you’re carving through mountain passes or embarking on long-distance touring adventures, this exhaust upgrade will revolutionise how your F800GT performs and sounds.

Premium BMW Performance Superbike Exhausts for the F800GT

Our exhaust system for the BMW F800GT represents years of development and testing to create the ultimate aftermarket solution for discerning riders. Each component is precision-manufactured from high-grade materials to ensure exceptional durability and performance. The system includes everything you need for a straightforward installation: one stainless steel 304 CNC mandrel bent link pipe, one stainless steel exhaust strap, and one exhaust strap rubber. This complete package is engineered to fit seamlessly with your standard OEM downpipes, making installation remarkably straightforward for both professional mechanics and experienced home enthusiasts.

The stainless steel 304 construction offers superior corrosion resistance compared to mild steel alternatives, ensuring your investment maintains its appearance and structural integrity for years to come. The CNC mandrel bending process guarantees consistent internal diameter throughout the pipe’s curves, eliminating the flow restrictions commonly found in crush-bent alternatives. This precision manufacturing technique is essential for maximising exhaust gas flow, which directly translates to improved engine breathing and enhanced throttle response across the entire rev range.

Why Upgrade to Performance BMW Performance Superbike Exhausts?

Upgrading your BMW F800GT with our performance exhaust system delivers multiple tangible benefits that enhance every aspect of your riding experience. The reduction in weight compared to the standard exhaust system improves the bike’s power-to-weight ratio, making acceleration more responsive and handling more nimble. The improved exhaust flow allows your engine to breathe more efficiently, potentially unlocking additional horsepower and torque that the restrictive standard system suppresses. Beyond performance metrics, the enhanced exhaust note provides satisfying auditory feedback that makes every journey more engaging and enjoyable.

The BMW F800GT is a capable sport-touring motorcycle that deserves an exhaust system worthy of its engineering pedigree. Our system maintains the bike’s refined character whilst adding a more purposeful tone that announces your presence without being antisocially loud. This balance makes it ideal for riders who appreciate quality sound engineering rather than simply maximum volume. The system has been extensively tested to ensure it complements the F800GT’s parallel-twin engine characteristics, enhancing the distinctive sound signature without introducing unwanted drone at cruising speeds.

Installation and Fitment of BMW Performance Superbike Exhausts

One of the standout features of our exhaust system is its direct-fit design that works seamlessly with your existing OEM downpipes. This approach significantly simplifies installation compared to full system replacements, reducing both the time required and the complexity of the fitting process. When installing your new exhaust, please ensure you reuse the OEM springs from your standard system—these components are specifically designed for the correct clamping force and thermal expansion characteristics required for a secure, leak-free connection.

The included stainless steel exhaust strap and rubber mount provide secure positioning of the silencer whilst allowing for the necessary thermal expansion that occurs during operation. Proper mounting is crucial for preventing unwanted vibration and ensuring the longevity of your exhaust system. We recommend checking all mounting points and connections after the first 50-100 miles of use, as thermal cycling can cause slight settling of components. A quick retightening if necessary will ensure optimal performance and security for thousands of miles thereafter.

Compatibility with Other BMW Performance Superbike Exhausts

At Carbon Can Co Ltd, we’ve developed an extensive range of performance exhausts for numerous BMW models, each engineered with the same attention to detail and quality standards as this F800GT system. If you own multiple BMW motorcycles or are considering your next bike, we also offer premium exhaust solutions for models including the BMW R1200RT 2014-2018 and the BMW F750 GS 2019-. Each system is specifically developed for its intended application, ensuring optimal fitment and performance characteristics tailored to each model’s unique requirements.

The engineering principles that make our bmw performance superbike exhausts so effective remain consistent across our entire range: premium materials, precision manufacturing, straightforward installation, and performance improvements that you’ll feel with every twist of the throttle. Our commitment to quality has earned us a reputation among BMW enthusiasts who demand the very best for their machines.

Technical Specifications and Sound Characteristics

Understanding the technical details helps appreciate the engineering excellence behind this exhaust system. The mandrel bending process used for the link pipe maintains consistent internal diameter throughout all bends, typically preserving 100% of the straight pipe’s flow capacity. In contrast, traditional crush-bent pipes can lose 10-20% of their flow area at bend points, creating bottlenecks that restrict exhaust gas evacuation. This seemingly small difference has measurable impacts on engine performance, particularly at higher RPMs where exhaust flow velocity is greatest.

The stainless steel 304 grade material offers an excellent balance of strength, corrosion resistance, and thermal properties. This austenitic stainless steel contains chromium and nickel, providing exceptional resistance to oxidation and staining even in harsh riding conditions including winter salt exposure and coastal environments. Unlike mild steel exhausts that require constant maintenance to prevent rust, stainless steel systems maintain their appearance with minimal care, typically requiring only occasional cleaning to look their best.

For those interested in the broader context of motorcycle exhaust design and performance, Motorcyclist Online provides an excellent explanation of how exhaust systems affect engine performance, covering topics from back pressure to sound wave tuning. Understanding these principles helps riders appreciate why quality aftermarket exhausts deliver such noticeable improvements over standard fitments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this exhaust fit my BMW F800GT 2013-2020?
Yes, this exhaust system is specifically designed for BMW F800GT models manufactured between 2013 and 2020. It connects directly to your standard OEM downpipes using the existing mounting points and OEM springs.

Do I need to remap my bike after fitting this exhaust?
While the exhaust will function perfectly with your standard ECU mapping, many riders choose to optimise their fuel mapping to fully exploit the improved breathing characteristics. Consult with a qualified BMW specialist or dyno tuner for advice specific to your bike’s configuration.

What maintenance does this exhaust require?
Stainless steel exhausts require minimal maintenance. Periodic cleaning with appropriate stainless steel cleaner will maintain appearance, and we recommend checking mounting hardware security after the first 50-100 miles and then as part of your regular service schedule.

How much weight does this save compared to the standard exhaust?
Weight savings vary depending on the specific silencer configuration chosen, but aftermarket systems typically offer substantial weight reductions compared to standard exhausts, contributing to improved handling and performance.

Experience the difference that quality engineering makes to your BMW F800GT. Our bmw performance superbike exhausts represent the perfect upgrade for riders who demand excellence in every component of their machine.
