When it comes to upgrading your touring motorcycle, few enhancements deliver the impact of premium bmw performance superbike exhausts, and our BMW K1600GT 2011-2024 exhaust system represents the pinnacle of British engineering and craftsmanship. Designed specifically for one of BMW’s most sophisticated grand touring motorcycles, this exhaust system transforms both the acoustic presence and visual appeal of your K1600GT whilst maintaining the legendary reliability that BMW riders demand.

The BMW K1600GT has established itself as the ultimate long-distance touring machine since its introduction, combining a silky-smooth inline-six engine with unparalleled comfort and technology. Our performance exhaust system enhances this already impressive package by reducing weight, improving exhaust flow, and delivering a deeper, more satisfying exhaust note that perfectly complements the character of the 1649cc powerplant. Every component has been meticulously engineered to integrate seamlessly with your motorcycle’s existing architecture.

Complete BMW Performance Superbike Exhausts System Package

This comprehensive exhaust solution for the BMW K1600GT 2011-2024 arrives as a complete kit with everything required for installation. The package includes two stainless steel 304 CNC mandrel-bent link pipes, precision-manufactured to ensure perfect fitment and optimal exhaust gas flow. Mandrel bending is crucial for performance applications as it maintains consistent internal diameter throughout each bend, eliminating restrictions that can hamper exhaust scavenging and reduce power output.

Additionally, the system comes complete with two stainless steel exhaust straps, two exhaust strap rubbers for vibration damping, and two exhaust bobbins with mounting bolts. This attention to detail ensures that you won’t need to source additional components or improvise mounting solutions. The exhaust is engineered to fit directly to the standard OEM downpipes, making installation straightforward for experienced home mechanics or professional workshops alike.

The use of high-grade stainless steel 304 throughout the construction ensures exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. This material choice is particularly important for touring motorcycles that may encounter varying weather conditions, road salt, and temperature extremes during long-distance journeys across different climates. Unlike mild steel alternatives that can corrode within seasons, stainless steel 304 maintains its structural integrity and appearance for years of reliable service.

Why Choose BMW Performance Superbike Exhausts from Carbon Can Co

Carbon Can Co Ltd has built its reputation on delivering premium motorcycle exhaust systems that combine performance, quality, and value. Our bmw performance superbike exhausts are manufactured in-house using advanced CNC machinery and traditional craftsmanship techniques, ensuring each system meets our exacting standards before dispatch. Unlike mass-produced alternatives, every exhaust receives individual attention during the manufacturing process.

The weight reduction achieved by replacing the standard exhaust system contributes to improved handling characteristics, particularly noticeable during spirited riding through twisting roads. Whilst the K1600GT is designed primarily for touring comfort, reducing unsprung and overall mass enhances the motorcycle’s responsiveness and agility. The improved exhaust flow characteristics can also contribute to marginal power gains and enhanced throttle response throughout the rev range.

Beyond performance metrics, the acoustic improvement represents one of the most immediately noticeable benefits. BMW’s inline-six engine produces a unique sound signature, and our exhaust system allows this character to shine through whilst maintaining civilised volume levels appropriate for touring use. The deeper, more purposeful tone enhances the riding experience without creating excessive noise that would detract from long-distance comfort or raise concerns with noise regulations.

Installation and Compatibility for BMW Performance Superbike Exhausts

Designed specifically for the BMW K1600GT spanning the 2011-2024 model years, this exhaust system ensures comprehensive coverage across multiple production iterations. The direct bolt-on design eliminates the need for modifications to your motorcycle, preserving its originality and making reversal to standard specification straightforward should you ever wish to do so. This approach also maintains warranty considerations for newer machines when properly installed.

For riders of other BMW touring models, Carbon Can Co offers compatible systems including our BMW R1200RT 2014-2018 exhaust and solutions for the BMW F800GT 2013-2020, ensuring that whatever BMW motorcycle you ride, there’s a performance exhaust option available. Each system is tailored to the specific characteristics and requirements of its intended model.

The included video demonstration provides valuable insight into the exhaust’s sound characteristics and fitment, allowing you to make an informed purchasing decision. Seeing and hearing the system on an actual K1600GT helps set realistic expectations and showcases the quality of finish you can expect. Technical Specifications and Quality Assurance

Every aspect of these bmw performance superbike exhausts has been carefully considered during the design phase. The mandrel-bent construction maintains smooth internal contours that facilitate efficient exhaust gas evacuation, reducing back pressure and allowing the engine to breathe more freely. This precision manufacturing process requires specialist equipment and expertise, representing a significant investment in quality that pays dividends in product performance and longevity.

The stainless steel construction offers excellent heat resistance and mechanical strength, crucial properties for components operating in the demanding exhaust environment. Temperatures can exceed several hundred degrees Celsius during normal operation, and the materials must withstand thermal cycling, vibration, and exposure to combustion byproducts without degradation. Our choice of stainless steel 304 meets these challenges whilst remaining cost-effective compared to exotic alloy alternatives.

Quality control procedures ensure that each exhaust system leaving our facility meets dimensional tolerances and finish standards. This attention to detail minimises the risk of fitment issues and ensures that the visual appearance matches the performance credentials. The professional finish enhances your motorcycle’s appearance, particularly important for a premium touring machine like the K1600GT where aesthetics match functionality.

Maintenance and Long-Term Performance

One of the significant advantages of stainless steel exhaust systems is their minimal maintenance requirements. Unlike systems requiring regular re-packing or finish maintenance, these bmw performance superbike exhausts simply need occasional inspection and cleaning to maintain optimal condition. The robust construction resists the wear and tear associated with touring use, including stone impacts, weather exposure, and the rigours of fully-loaded long-distance riding.

For riders interested in understanding more about motorcycle exhaust technology and performance principles, the Motorcyclist Online exhaust systems guide provides comprehensive technical background. Understanding how exhaust design influences engine performance helps riders make informed decisions about modifications and appreciate the engineering that goes into quality aftermarket systems.

The rubbers and mounting hardware included with the system are designed for longevity, but represent serviceable items that can be replaced if required after extended use. This thoughtful design approach ensures that the exhaust system itself will outlast these minor components, and replacement parts remain readily available should they be needed during the system’s operational life.
