Premium Quality Triumph Performance Superbike Exhausts for Your Speed Triple

This comprehensive exhaust package includes everything required for a straightforward installation. Each kit comprises one CNC mandrel-bent link pipe manufactured from premium 304-grade stainless steel, one robust stainless steel exhaust strap, and one high-temperature exhaust strap rubber mount. The precision manufacturing process ensures consistent internal diameter throughout the link pipe, eliminating the restrictions and turbulence often found in inferior crush-bent alternatives. This attention to detail translates directly into improved exhaust gas flow, reduced back pressure, and measurable performance improvements across the rev range.

The 304 stainless steel construction offers exceptional durability and corrosion resistance, ensuring your investment continues to look impressive and perform flawlessly season after season. Unlike mild steel exhausts that quickly succumb to rust and degradation, our stainless system maintains its lustrous appearance with minimal maintenance. The material choice also significantly reduces weight compared to the factory exhaust components, contributing to improved handling characteristics and enhanced throttle response. For riders who appreciate engineering excellence, the mandrel bending process preserves the pipe’s structural integrity whilst maintaining optimal flow characteristics throughout every curve.

Straightforward Fitment to OEM Standard Downpipes

One of the defining advantages of this triumph performance superbike exhausts system is its engineered compatibility with your existing standard OEM downpipes. This design philosophy eliminates the need for expensive full system replacement, allowing you to achieve substantial performance and aesthetic improvements whilst retaining your factory headers. The link pipe connects seamlessly to the standard downpipes, making installation accessible even for home mechanics with moderate experience. The supplied stainless exhaust strap and high-quality rubber mount ensure secure, vibration-free attachment that withstands the rigours of spirited riding and track day abuse.

Installation typically requires only basic hand tools and can be completed in a home garage environment within a couple of hours. The precision manufacturing tolerances ensure proper alignment with existing mounting points, eliminating the frustration of ill-fitting aftermarket components. This plug-and-play approach makes upgrading your Speed Triple’s exhaust system a straightforward weekend project rather than a complex workshop undertaking. We recommend using high-temperature copper grease on all connection points to facilitate future removal and prevent seized fixings.

Performance Benefits and Sound Characteristics

Upgrading to quality triumph performance superbike exhausts delivers tangible benefits beyond aesthetic improvements. Riders typically experience enhanced throttle response, particularly in the mid-range where the Speed Triple’s torquey triple-cylinder engine truly excels. The reduced weight contributes to improved power-to-weight ratio, whilst the optimised exhaust flow allows the engine to breathe more efficiently. These improvements manifest as crisper acceleration, stronger pull through the gears, and a more engaging riding experience overall.

The exhaust note transforms from the somewhat muted factory tone to a deeper, more purposeful soundtrack that announces your presence without becoming antisocially loud. The distinctive triple-cylinder warble becomes more pronounced, creating that addictive auditory feedback that makes every journey more enjoyable. This balance between performance and civility makes the system ideal for riders who want enhanced sound without attracting unwanted attention or triggering noise complaints on track days.

Frequently Asked Questions About Triumph Speed Triple 955i Exhausts

Will this exhaust require remapping or fuel adjustment?

While the exhaust will function with standard fuelling, optimal performance is achieved with appropriate fuelling adjustments. Many riders opt for a custom dyno tune or aftermarket fuel controller to maximise the benefits of improved exhaust flow. The Speed Triple’s fuel injection system is relatively adaptable, but professional tuning ensures you extract every advantage from your exhaust upgrade whilst maintaining proper air-fuel ratios across all operating conditions.

Exhaust legality varies by jurisdiction and depends on factors including noise levels and emissions equipment retention. We recommend checking your local regulations regarding aftermarket exhaust systems. Many countries require retention of catalytic converters and compliance with specific noise limits. Responsible riders ensure their modifications comply with applicable laws whilst enjoying the performance and aesthetic benefits of quality aftermarket components.

What maintenance does stainless steel exhaust require?

Stainless steel exhausts require minimal maintenance compared to mild steel alternatives. Periodic cleaning with appropriate stainless steel cleaner maintains appearance, whilst occasional inspection of mounting hardware ensures continued secure fitment. The corrosion-resistant properties of 304-grade stainless mean your exhaust will maintain its appearance with far less effort than painted or chrome-plated mild steel systems, making it an excellent long-term investment for your Speed Triple.

Transform your Triumph Speed Triple 955i with this precision-engineered exhaust system and experience the difference that quality British manufacturing makes to your riding experience.
