When it comes to upgrading your motorcycle’s performance and sound, few modifications deliver the impact of premium triumph performance superbike exhausts, and this precision-engineered system for the Triumph 1050 TIGER 2006-2012 represents the perfect blend of quality craftsmanship, enhanced performance, and distinctive acoustic character. Designed and manufactured by Carbon Can Co Ltd in the UK, this exhaust system transforms your adventure tourer into a machine that not only performs better but sounds absolutely magnificent whilst doing so.

Premium Triumph Performance Superbike Exhausts for Your Tiger 1050

The Triumph 1050 Tiger has long been celebrated as one of the most versatile adventure motorcycles ever produced, combining on-road performance with genuine off-road capability. However, the standard exhaust system, whilst reliable, often leaves riders wanting more—more power, less weight, and a sound that truly reflects the character of that glorious triple-cylinder engine. This is where our bespoke exhaust system excels, offering a comprehensive upgrade that addresses every shortcoming of the factory fitment.

Each exhaust system is meticulously crafted from high-grade stainless steel 304, a material chosen specifically for its exceptional corrosion resistance, durability, and ability to withstand the rigours of both road and adventure riding. The CNC mandrel-bent link pipe ensures smooth, unrestricted gas flow, which is absolutely critical for maximising performance gains. Unlike crush-bent alternatives, mandrel bending maintains a consistent internal diameter throughout every curve, eliminating turbulence and back-pressure that can strangle engine performance.

What’s Included with Your Triumph Performance Superbike Exhausts Package

This comprehensive exhaust system arrives complete with everything you need for a straightforward installation. The package includes one precision-engineered stainless steel 304 CNC mandrel-bent link pipe, manufactured to exacting tolerances to guarantee perfect fitment with your Triumph 1050 Tiger’s OEM downpipes. You’ll also receive one high-quality stainless steel exhaust strap and one exhaust strap rubber mounting, ensuring secure, vibration-free mounting that will last for thousands of miles.

The beauty of this system lies in its simplicity and compatibility. Designed to fit straight onto your standard OEM downpipes without requiring any modifications, cutting, or welding, this exhaust represents a genuinely practical upgrade that most competent home mechanics can install with basic tools. This plug-and-play approach means you can have your Tiger singing with a new voice in a matter of hours, not days, and without the expense of professional fitting.

Engineering Excellence in Triumph Performance Superbike Exhausts

Carbon Can Co Ltd has built its reputation on delivering exhaust systems that don’t compromise. Every system is hand-finished in the UK, with meticulous attention paid to weld quality, fitment tolerances, and acoustic tuning. The stainless steel construction ensures that your exhaust will maintain its appearance and structural integrity even when faced with British weather, road salt, and the general punishment that adventure riding inevitably delivers.

The mandrel-bent construction isn’t simply a manufacturing detail—it’s a fundamental performance feature. By maintaining consistent internal diameter through every bend, exhaust gases can exit more efficiently, reducing back-pressure and allowing your engine to breathe more freely. This translates into tangible performance improvements: sharper throttle response, enhanced mid-range torque, and a noticeable increase in top-end power. Riders consistently report that their Tigers feel more eager, more responsive, and significantly more engaging to ride after fitting this exhaust system.

If you’re looking to upgrade other Triumph models in your collection, we also offer premium systems for the Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer, delivering the same exceptional quality and performance gains across the Tiger range.

Performance Benefits and Sound Character

Beyond the measurable performance gains, one of the most immediately noticeable improvements comes in the form of sound. The standard Triumph 1050 Tiger exhaust, whilst acceptably quiet, rather muffles the characterful howl of that 1050cc triple-cylinder engine. This aftermarket system unleashes a deeper, more purposeful exhaust note that genuinely enhances the riding experience without becoming antisocially loud or droning on long motorway journeys.

Weight reduction represents another significant benefit. Aftermarket stainless steel systems typically weigh considerably less than their OEM counterparts, which often incorporate heavy catalytic converters and excessive sound dampening materials. Reducing unsprung weight and overall motorcycle mass improves handling characteristics, making your Tiger feel more nimble and responsive through corners whilst also contributing to marginally improved fuel efficiency.

For riders seeking similar upgrades for other models, the Triumph Sprint 1050 GT 2011 – 2020 exhaust system offers comparable benefits for that sport-touring platform, demonstrating our expertise across the entire Triumph range.

Installation and Compatibility Considerations

Fitting this exhaust system requires no specialist knowledge or equipment. The system mounts directly to your existing OEM downpipes using the supplied mounting hardware, meaning you won’t need to source additional brackets, clamps, or fasteners. The included stainless steel exhaust strap and rubber mounting ensure secure fitment that accommodates the normal expansion and contraction that occurs as the exhaust system heats and cools during use.

Before installation, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the mating surfaces on your OEM downpipes and applying a small amount of high-temperature anti-seize compound to threaded fasteners. This simple preparation ensures leak-free sealing and will make future removal significantly easier should you ever need to service or replace components.

Frequently Asked Questions About Triumph Performance Superbike Exhausts

Will this exhaust pass MOT emissions testing?

How much weight does this system save compared to standard?

Weight savings vary depending on the specific OEM configuration, but riders typically report reductions of between 3-5 kilograms compared to the factory exhaust system, contributing to improved handling and performance.

Will I need to remap my ECU after fitting?

Our commitment to adhering to regulations is evident in our product design and labelling, and hence with new updates from ACEM, DVSA and DfT, we are ensuring our exhaust systems are compliant with new and upcoming legislation and regulations. Specifically, two changes detailed below:

Road Legal Exhausts: Our road legal exhausts will have the BSAU stamped markings and be crafted with non-removable baffles, aligning seamlessly with the standards set by ACEM (European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers). These baffles are an integral part of our design to ensure that your motorcycle exhaust complies with road regulations, providing you with a legal and enjoyable riding experience.

Clearly marked with type approval markings “Not for Road Use” etched into the side, these exhausts are specifically designed for racing applications.
