Carbon Can Co Ltd brings you a meticulously crafted exhaust system that combines authentic Italian styling with cutting-edge performance technology, delivering an unparalleled riding experience that honours the Breva’s legendary V-twin heritage whilst propelling it firmly into the modern era of motorcycling excellence.

The Moto Guzzi Breva 2006 represents a pivotal moment in the marque’s storied history, blending traditional shaft-drive engineering with contemporary naked bike aesthetics. Our exhaust system has been developed specifically to complement this model’s unique characteristics, offering riders the perfect balance between enhanced performance, weight reduction, and that distinctive deep-throated rumble that Guzzi enthusiasts have cherished for generations.

Why Choose Our Moto Guzzi Performance Superbike Exhausts for Your Breva 2006

When you invest in our moto guzzi performance superbike exhausts, you’re not simply purchasing an aftermarket component—you’re unlocking the true potential of your Breva 2006. Our exhaust systems are constructed using premium-grade materials that meet the highest manufacturing standards, ensuring longevity and consistent performance even under demanding riding conditions. The lightweight carbon fibre construction significantly reduces overall weight compared to the factory-fitted system, improving handling dynamics and throttle response throughout the rev range.

Each exhaust undergoes rigorous quality control testing before leaving our facility, guaranteeing that every Carbon Can Co product meets our exacting specifications. The precision-engineered baffles within our system create an optimised exhaust flow path that reduces back pressure whilst maintaining appropriate noise levels for road use. This careful acoustic tuning means you’ll enjoy a rich, authoritative exhaust note that turns heads without causing unnecessary disturbance or attracting unwanted attention from authorities.

Performance Benefits of Upgrading Your Moto Guzzi Performance Superbike Exhausts

The factory exhaust system on the Breva 2006, whilst adequate for standard use, was necessarily designed with compromise in mind—balancing cost, weight, emissions compliance, and performance across multiple markets. Our aftermarket system eliminates these compromises, delivering measurable improvements across multiple performance metrics that you’ll notice immediately from your first ride.

  • Power and Torque Gains: Experience noticeable improvements in mid-range torque delivery and top-end power output, with gains typically ranging from 5-8% depending on your specific engine tune and supporting modifications.
  • Weight Reduction: Save valuable kilograms from your motorcycle’s kerb weight, lowering the centre of gravity and improving handling characteristics, particularly during spirited cornering and rapid direction changes.
  • Enhanced Throttle Response: Reduced exhaust restriction means your engine breathes more freely, resulting in crisper throttle response and more immediate power delivery when you open the throttle.
  • Improved Fuel Efficiency: More efficient exhaust gas evacuation can contribute to modest improvements in fuel consumption during steady-state riding, though spirited riding may offset these gains.
  • Superior Aesthetics: The lustrous carbon fibre finish adds a premium racing aesthetic that perfectly complements the Breva’s muscular stance and Italian design language.

Installation and Compatibility of Moto Guzzi Performance Superbike Exhausts

Our moto guzzi performance superbike exhausts for the Breva 2006 have been designed with straightforward installation in mind, utilising the existing mounting points and requiring no permanent modifications to your motorcycle’s frame or bodywork. The comprehensive fitting kit includes all necessary brackets, gaskets, springs, and fasteners required for a secure, rattle-free installation. Whilst competent home mechanics with appropriate tools can successfully complete the installation within a few hours, we always recommend professional fitting by a qualified motorcycle technician to ensure optimal alignment and secure mounting.

The exhaust system is manufactured to precise tolerances, ensuring proper fitment with OEM and aftermarket components including centre stands, foot pegs, and pannier mounting systems. Each unit is test-fitted during production to verify clearances and alignment, minimising the possibility of fitment issues upon delivery. For riders who own other models in the Moto Guzzi range, we also offer systems for various models including our popular Moto Guzzi Stelvio 2008 and Moto Guzzi Griso 2006 exhausts, each specifically engineered for their respective models.

Premium Materials and Construction Quality

Carbon Can Co Ltd utilises only the finest materials in manufacturing our moto guzzi performance superbike exhausts. The carbon fibre outer sleeve is woven from aerospace-grade carbon cloth using advanced autoclave curing processes, resulting in exceptional strength-to-weight ratios and outstanding thermal resistance. The internal construction features precision-mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing that resists corrosion and maintains structural integrity even after years of exposure to heat cycles and road conditions.

Our manufacturing process incorporates lessons learned from professional racing applications, where reliability and consistent performance under extreme conditions are paramount. The high-temperature resin systems used in our carbon fibre layup process ensure the material maintains its properties even when subjected to the considerable heat generated by the Breva’s 1100cc V-twin engine. For further technical information about motorcycle exhaust systems and their impact on engine performance, the engineering resources at SAE International provide excellent in-depth technical papers and research.

Maintenance and Longevity

One of the significant advantages of choosing our moto guzzi performance superbike exhausts is their remarkable durability and minimal maintenance requirements. The carbon fibre construction is inherently resistant to the corrosion that plagues mild steel factory systems, particularly in wet British riding conditions. A simple periodic inspection for secure mounting and occasional cleaning with appropriate carbon-safe products will keep your exhaust looking pristine for years.

The stainless steel internal components resist rust and oxidation, maintaining optimal exhaust flow characteristics throughout the system’s service life. Unlike chrome-plated factory systems that can blister and peel, our carbon finish remains stable and attractive with minimal care. We recommend periodic inspection of mounting hardware, particularly spring connections, to ensure everything remains secure—a practice that should form part of your regular motorcycle maintenance routine regardless of which exhaust system you’re running.
