When searching for premium honda performance superbike exhausts, riders of the iconic Honda VFR800 FI RC46 (1997-2002) need look no further than Carbon Can Co Ltd’s expertly engineered exhaust system. This precision-manufactured exhaust delivers exceptional performance, stunning aesthetics, and reliable fitment for one of Honda’s most celebrated sport-touring motorcycles.

Premium Honda Performance Superbike Exhausts for VFR800 FI RC46

The Honda VFR800 FI RC46 represents a pivotal era in Honda’s V4 superbike lineage, combining sports performance with touring versatility. Our exhaust system has been specifically designed to complement the bike’s legendary 781cc liquid-cooled V4 engine, extracting additional horsepower whilst reducing overall weight. This carefully crafted exhaust allows your VFR800 to breathe more freely, optimising exhaust gas flow and delivering a richer, more purposeful exhaust note that befits the bike’s sporting heritage.

Each exhaust system is manufactured using premium 304 stainless steel, chosen specifically for its excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The CNC mandrel bent link pipe ensures smooth, unrestricted gas flow throughout the system, eliminating the restrictions often found in stock exhaust configurations. Unlike crush-bent alternatives, mandrel bending maintains consistent internal diameter throughout all curves, maximising performance gains and ensuring your VFR800 performs at its absolute best.

Complete Fitting Kit for Honda Performance Superbike Exhausts

Understanding that proper installation is crucial for optimal performance, every exhaust system includes a comprehensive fitting kit containing everything required for straightforward installation. The package includes one stainless 304 CNC mandrel bent link pipe, one stainless exhaust strap, and one exhaust strap rubber. This complete kit ensures secure mounting and proper alignment, eliminating the frustration of sourcing additional hardware or fabricating custom brackets.

The exhaust system is engineered to fit directly to your Honda VFR800 FI’s standard OEM downpipes, requiring no cutting, welding, or permanent modifications to your motorcycle. This bolt-on design makes installation accessible for home mechanics whilst ensuring professional results. The precision engineering means perfect alignment every time, eliminating common fitment issues such as misaligned hangers or excessive clearance gaps.

Why Choose Carbon Can Co’s Honda Performance Superbike Exhausts

Carbon Can Co Ltd has built a reputation for delivering exceptional quality exhaust systems across Honda’s extensive model range. Our experience with Honda XRV750 Africa Twin 90′ – 03′ and other models demonstrates our commitment to model-specific engineering excellence. Every exhaust undergoes rigorous quality control procedures before leaving our facility, ensuring you receive a product that meets our exacting standards.

The benefits of upgrading to our exhaust system extend beyond pure performance. Weight reduction is immediately noticeable, particularly beneficial during spirited riding or track days where every kilogram matters. The improved exhaust note provides better auditory feedback, allowing you to sense engine speed and load more intuitively. Additionally, the stunning stainless steel finish enhances your VFR800’s visual appeal, replacing the often-dated appearance of stock exhaust components with contemporary styling.

Technical Excellence in Every Honda Performance Superbike Exhausts Component

The mandrel bending process employed in manufacturing our link pipes represents the pinnacle of exhaust fabrication technology. This sophisticated technique pushes a steel ball through the tube as it’s bent, maintaining constant internal diameter and preventing the wall collapse common with traditional bending methods. For your VFR800’s V4 engine, this translates to optimised scavenging effects, improved mid-range torque delivery, and enhanced top-end power.

Stainless steel grade 304 was selected after extensive testing for its ideal balance of properties. This austenitic chromium-nickel alloy offers superior resistance to oxidation and corrosion compared to mild steel alternatives, ensuring your exhaust maintains its appearance despite exposure to harsh weather conditions, road salt, and high operating temperatures. The material’s high-temperature strength prevents distortion and discolouration, maintaining structural integrity throughout the exhaust’s service life.

Our exhaust systems complement various Honda models in our range, including the Honda Monkey 125cc Performance Road-Legal/Race Exhaust Muffler & System, demonstrating our versatility across Honda’s diverse lineup.

Installation and Maintenance Considerations

Installing your new exhaust system requires basic mechanical skills and common workshop tools. We recommend consulting your Honda VFR800 workshop manual for torque specifications and proper assembly procedures. For those seeking additional guidance, video demonstrations are available through our YouTube channel, providing visual step-by-step installation instructions specifically for this model.

Maintenance requirements are minimal thanks to the stainless steel construction. Periodic inspection of mounting hardware is recommended to ensure all fasteners remain secure, particularly after the first 100 miles following installation when components settle into position. The exhaust strap rubber should be inspected regularly for signs of perishing or damage, though our high-quality materials ensure extended service intervals.
