When it comes to upgrading your Triumph 955i SPRINT ST (1999-2005), choosing the right triumph performance superbike exhausts can transform both the sound and performance of your machine. Our precision-engineered exhaust system has been specifically designed for the Triumph 955i SPRINT ST model range, offering riders a perfect blend of enhanced performance, distinctive sound, and outstanding build quality that befits this iconic sport-touring motorcycle.

The Triumph 955i SPRINT ST was a groundbreaking motorcycle when it launched, combining genuine sporting ability with practical touring credentials. This versatile superbike deserves an exhaust system that matches its character, and our bespoke solution delivers exactly that. Manufactured from premium grade stainless steel 304, this exhaust system is built to withstand the rigours of British weather whilst maintaining its appearance for years to come.

Why Choose Our Triumph Performance Superbike Exhausts for Your Sprint ST

Our exhaust system stands apart from mass-produced alternatives through meticulous attention to detail and superior manufacturing processes. Each component is CNC mandrel bent, ensuring smooth internal geometry that optimises exhaust gas flow. This manufacturing technique prevents the crimping and deformation that occurs with cheaper press-bent systems, resulting in improved performance characteristics and a more refined exhaust note.

The complete kit includes everything required for a straightforward installation. You’ll receive one stainless steel 304 CNC mandrel bent link pipe, one stainless exhaust strap, and one exhaust strap rubber. This comprehensive package ensures you have all the necessary components to achieve a secure, vibration-free fitting that will stand the test of time.

One of the key advantages of our system is its compatibility with your existing OEM downpipes. This exhaust is engineered to fit straight onto the standard factory downpipes, eliminating the need for expensive modifications or custom fabrication work. This direct-fit approach not only saves you money but also ensures the installation process is as straightforward as possible, whether you’re a experienced home mechanic or having the work carried out by your local workshop.

Performance Benefits of Premium Triumph Performance Superbike Exhausts

Upgrading to a high-quality aftermarket exhaust system delivers tangible benefits beyond just an improved soundtrack. The precision-engineered design reduces back pressure compared to the restrictive standard exhaust, allowing your 955i triple engine to breathe more freely. This enhanced gas flow can result in modest power gains throughout the rev range, with improvements particularly noticeable in the mid-range where the Sprint ST’s character truly shines.

Weight reduction is another significant advantage. Our stainless steel construction delivers exceptional durability whilst being considerably lighter than the original equipment exhaust system. This reduction in unsprung mass contributes to improved handling characteristics, making the bike feel more responsive and agile through corners. For a sport-touring motorcycle like the Sprint ST, these handling improvements enhance the riding experience on both spirited back-road rides and long-distance touring adventures.

The distinctive sound produced by our exhaust system gives your Triumph a more purposeful voice without being antisocially loud. The three-cylinder engine’s characteristic howl is enhanced and amplified, creating an exhaust note that’s both thrilling and refined. This auditory feedback adds to the visceral pleasure of riding whilst remaining considerate to other road users and residential areas.

Quality Materials and Construction in Our Triumph Performance Superbike Exhausts

We exclusively use stainless steel 304 throughout our exhaust construction. This particular grade of stainless steel offers an excellent balance of corrosion resistance, high-temperature performance, and structural strength. Unlike mild steel alternatives that quickly succumb to rust and corrosion, especially in the UK’s damp climate, stainless steel 304 maintains its integrity and appearance for many years with minimal maintenance.

The CNC mandrel bending process we employ is crucial to achieving optimal performance. Traditional bending methods can crimp the exhaust tubing, creating restrictions that impede gas flow. Our mandrel bending technique maintains consistent internal diameter throughout every bend, ensuring the smoothest possible path for exhaust gases. This precision manufacturing is typically reserved for high-end racing applications, but we believe every rider deserves this level of quality.

The included mounting hardware has been carefully selected to ensure secure fitment whilst accommodating the natural vibration characteristics of the Triumph triple engine. The stainless exhaust strap provides robust mounting, whilst the specially selected rubber component absorbs vibration, preventing the transmission of unwanted resonance to the chassis and rider.

Installation and Compatibility Considerations

Fitting this exhaust system to your Triumph 955i SPRINT ST is a straightforward process that most competent home mechanics can accomplish with basic tools. The direct-fit design means there’s no cutting, welding, or modification required. Simply remove your existing exhaust components, fit the new link pipe to your standard downpipes, secure with the provided mounting hardware, and you’re ready to enjoy your upgraded machine.

For riders looking to upgrade other Triumph models, we offer a comprehensive range of exhaust solutions. Our Triumph Speed Triple 955i 2000 – 2004 exhaust shares similar engineering philosophy and would be perfect if you own the naked sibling to the Sprint ST.
